Only one person understood this self-portrait...i'd like to think the camera is my voice most of the time.

chopteeth opened for konono no. 1 on friday...couldn't stay for most of konono because 1) the manager came out and said no pictures, and 2) it was hot!!! easily 120 degrees. people had to leave and ask for their money back. what a shame! konono looked interested.

i'll post up the few pictures of chopteeth's performance later...

Went to botanical gardens for a couple of hours on Saturday. It was hot as hell, but interesting. I'll be going back once I have time...and mastered some techniques. Check out the rest of the photos here!

Why would a guy as talented as Lagbaja (Nigerian artist performing in DC, August 4th. Click here for details) choose to remain faceless? ALL the time?

When i first started photography, i knew i wanted to get into ALL sorts of photography. I was mainly inspired by other photographers- both old and new. Not taking certain photographs, because of opinions of others, goes against what I stand for. Unfortunately, I would have to deal with some criticism from people very close to me.

That's what you'll get for wanting to be artistic... and appreciated. Below are photo works (best viewed from his website) from another phtotographer that inspires me, Leo. Check out his website. He'll like for you not to be offended, and it contains some artistic nudity.

Ummm...look out for my series in the fall.
